Confirm Location by Phone Not an Option

    Hey Guys,

I recently logged into my PayPal account only to find out that it had been limited. This doesn't really come to me as a surprise, since I am currently on vacation in a sanctioned country and tried to log in. Obviously it didn't work and said that I was in a sanctioned country, so I tried using a proxy and it worked fine.

I guess that is what caused the limitations, anyway, I went to the resolution center to see how I could resolve the problem and lift the limited access. Changing my password and security question were both not a problem, but since I am on vacation, the confirmation of location via a Phone Call failed and know I only have the option of receiving a letter by mail within 7 to 9 business days.

It's kind of messed up really, you see, I actually live in Saudi Arabia and am currently on vacation in Syria and was previously in Canada. Since we don't live (my family and I) in Canada, we don't have a mailing address there and had to use my uncle's. So stupid me went ahead and clicked on the phone verification before calling my uncle to see if he was at home..... to sum it up, now I have to wait for more than one week till I can lift the limited access from my account.

How can I get the verification by phone as option once again?

You can't get that option back again and BTW you have broken their TOS if you signed up under your name

@redskins80, sadly that's what I was thinking as well :( Ah well, I guess I'll just have to wait for the letter to arrive and ask my uncle to tell me what it says.

By the way, I didn't sign up under my name, I signed up under my Dad's name
