    Under referrals you have:

Clicks CTR Sign-ups Conversions [?] Earnings

How can you have a conversion, but not a Sign-up and vice versa?

    Can someone explain?

Do both Sign-ups and conversions earn money?

Yes, I know; what's a Confersion? I have no idea

Since we were down, nobody probably saw this.

Does anyone have an answer on this?

    :)

Sign-ups are just for Google product AdWords, AdSense, Apps, and Checkout. The sign-up event occur when the user first registers for the service. However you don't get paid for these things when a user registers, they need to complete some further action. For example, the an AdSense referral needs to earn at least $5.00. Once this second action occurs, you get the money and it counts as a conversion.

Here are all the conversion requirements:

    * AdSense: a conversion for AdSense is counted when a user you've referred to AdSense has signed up and earned their first $5 within 180 days.
    * AdWords: a conversion occurs when a user signs up for AdWords through your referral button or link and spends $5 within 90 days.
    * Google Apps: a conversion occurs when a user signs up for Google Apps. The domain must have one or more Google Apps email accounts in use for four consecutive weeks for the referral to be counted.
    * Checkout: a conversion occurs when a user signs up for Google Checkout as a buyer and completes a transaction of at least $10 (before tax and shipping) with Google Checkout.
