Conducting a Giveaway

    Hello,

    I have a small forum and would like to run a contest to help increase members. Just looking for some ideas on conducting it and picking the winner. One idea I saw was simply pick a number between 1 - 2000 and have a post count of say 3 or more.

    This could possibly allow the giveaway to last at least a few days. Plus, attain some more members that would hopefully add content to the forum. The prize retails for $200 and is a very hot item this season. Would like to hype it up some before it starts.

    Any suggestions are welcomed. I would have posted this under contests but I discovered when i was looking to get a new logo designed, there is a post requirement to post in that section. Can't wait to get a new logo.

    NYHuntClub.com is the link to my site. I can generate traffic, but not many become members.

    Not sure if the giveaway is better once I have members or to generate members?
