Selling Condom Websites - Multiple Domains and Subjects

I am posting to see if there is any interest in an idea I have not marketed, I did build a couple of websites and have sold some product.

The business is Novelty Condoms. I can teach the buyer how to make them for about 30-50 cents each and they are professional looking. This is the cost if you put them together yourself. You can order them prebuilt but then you have to order 1000's to get the cost down.

Here are the domains with working sites and paypal as the payment system

www.CamoCondom.com - A camouflage condom design with really funny slogans "Don't let em see you coming" and "Protection when in the bush"

www.YourNameCondoms.com - "Hey I have a condom with your name on it"

www.UteCondoms.com - "Protect Your Pipe" (indian themed).

All three have custom graphics and templates. They are use Joomla as the CMS. So they are very easy to maintain.

Assume very little traffic as I have done NO marketing. I did get a few sales about $100 worth around christmas and some around valentines day. All from word of mouth. Funny most sales came from Women. I wouldn't have guessed that. =)

www.CoverTheRod.com / www.CTRCondom.com - this is a play on the mormon religion and the CTR (Choose the Right) rings they wear... I did develop the artwork for the condom but decided not to proceed as it would have really pissed off my family (all mormon)...

www.FunnyRubber.com - Not developed, the plan was going to use this site to sell all of the funny condoms in one place or use as a distributor.

www.UtahCondoms.com - Can you guess what State I am from? lol

www.YCondom.com / www.YCondoms.com - Was going to make this for a local school and found that I could get in trouble with that because if it is implied it is enforced copyright law. However these are still great domain names as you could easily market for "Why use a condom" or a "Y" can stand for just about anything...


Now to the gritty on the sale. I do not have the time to take these any further as other projects have taken up much of my time and I am broke. So this business gets sold or a great partner, meaning I may be interested in partnering up with the right person.

I am not sure what to appraise this at and thought I would post to see if anyone was interested and review any offers that come.

You can bid on a single domain or the entire business. You get all the graphics (in PSD form) including the condom templates, website templates etc.

I do not make the actual condoms, I make the packaging and adds the novelty feature. I order the condoms in the color (green for CamoCondom) in bulk from CondomDepot.com where you can get 50 for about 15 bucks shipped. Of course if you order more they are cheaper.

Then I print the packaging, cut it twice and fold into a matchbook style fold. It takes about 1 minute to put one together.

If you had tons of orders you can pay someone to put them all together, the min order is usually 500 so I did not go that route. Also for 500 they are about a buck a piece.

I also considered running booths at trade shows such as Hunting and Fishing Expo's...

 

ok novelty feature....you mean you like stamp the graphic on the condom? dont they like have gel on them and stuff? So are you just stamping the packaging? not the comdom itself? I don't mean to waste your time I just don't have a good handle on what you are saying about this product.

I love this idea I have some teen sites that sure need more condoms. the kids tell me there are glow in the dark condoms and everything. but are you actually doing someting to the condom or just the outside packaging or just reselling what you get? I am sorry if I embarrassed you but I can't see what you are selling I don't want to handle condoms but if it is just making the packaging cute than I can do that, well my ebay gal can do that. I have a gal that come in twice a week to do the ebay store and that would be a great little job for her if it is just the packaging.

Hello good questions again.

I am just creating the packaging. No way do I want to get into creating the actual condom and adding graphics (I imagine that would ruin the integrity of the condom and we would all have tons more babies =).

This is simply the packaging the condoms into the novelty packaging.

They do make Glow in the Dark condoms and I was trying to think of a good theme to go with on these but never did flush one out. Something stars wars themed or alien. "Use the force" =)

 

yeah flushable ones would be great from a landlord point of view....lol or spontaniously disentegrate so I can go on the riverwalk without gagging from the stupid chihuahuas trying to investigate them.

and no i mean yes I do know that is not what you meant when you wanted to "flush out" a pun, I was just being silly.
