If it's a short and premium word, with .FM extension, will it be worth alot? Or is there a reason why the word 'condo' is worth so much?

I know of a REALLY premium .fm domain, but it's $1000 which I can't afford to buy if it's a waste.

    again.
it is all speculation. I personally believe that .fm has excellent potential and I own a number of .fm sites. That being said. Renewals are extremely expensive around 90-100 bucks.. So you better be into extensive site development or long term investments. or you will be realizing you arent getting returns pretty quickly. Overal. Risky investment unless you arent going to develop your site.. and it better be a good name.

Surprising because the term doesn't relate to the extension. One of those sales where the end user had to have the domain.

    Thats true.
but i will say condo is a pretty popular domain. I just finished a site for a guy in Flordia that owns a number of beach condos... well the domain i bought for him was also "condo related". i agree that the ext. doesnt match the name.. but in this case i think .com condo names are flooded.. and now you are just comparing extentions.. Which is a hard comparison at best.
