I received a payment with my Paypal verified US business account for something I sold on eBay that I'll be delivering digitally, for the amount of 125 USD. The item didn't cost nearly that much to me. The name on the Paypal and eBay are the same, but the eBay name can be changed easily. The eBay account is US with 83 feedback, 100% and the address is an apartment in Arizona. The Paypal account I received payment from is listed with an American name it appears. The address says it is confirmed to the same apartment in Arizona but it got flagged for an unconfirmed address. Further checking shows the account is a verified premier CL Paypal (I think this is Chile). Should I suspect anything? Is it appropriate for me to ask for a scanned ID from the buyer? Of course I would be sending it to his Paypal email only and this information is from inside my Paypal, not an email I got.
