    When I first started I had 1 site that I worked on HARD for a long time... got it profitable and then moved onto other things. I found this to be a good way to go because that site was able to fund anything else I was / am playing with.

    Also, you probably DON't want to interlink them as google doesn't really like that unless they are related. just a headsup.
