I have searched with google, and can't find any solution, so I'm asking here. When I enter chinese websites, they give me rectangles, why?
They are either improperly coded UTF-8 characters or your browser is not set to read utf-8. Which browser are you using?
I think first you need to translate website then engine gives you answer and i think in China, Google doesn't support it
Actually, To be able to read Chinese on your computer, you must have the language installed in your computer. Chinese is based on characters not from the English alphabet and this means that your computer will need the programs or files to decode Chinese characters. ))
Actually its not the matter of Translation here, its the matter of why Computer don't read Chinese. For translation you can make use of Google Chrome, right click and select translate to english.
If you are seeing only strange characters in the page, you have to install a font first. Most of the time,It may be mentioned in the page you are visiting how to install it.
Follow "Ansis"'s advice. You need to install the languages, thats if you are using XP. For Win 7 I think they already have that installed.
I suggest posting some more info like OS, etc. It has something to do with your operating system. It might not have been installed properly.
If you're using Windows XP, make sure you have enabled East Asian languages. (In Windows 7 and Vista you do not need to do this.)
i think this problem is happening due to the fault of your browser.use firefox because i use it and i have not faced such types of problem.
