I prefer to use a laptop. ATM I'm mostly using a desktop, since my laptop battery only lasts for about 30 minutes, but when I get my new laptop I'll be on that almost all the time. They're just easier for me to use.

In my humble opinion a laptop is the only way to go. They are mobile and you can take your work with you wherever. When you are stranded at an airport trust me you want your laptop or it is hours and hours of wasted time.

I can't live without my laptop. It's the most innovative creation known to mankind, with the exception of the internet;) I only use my desktop for backing up my laptop stuff..and on the very odd occasion I'll play a game on the desktop. It truly makes me wonder why I spent £1000+ building it:confused::(

I prefer desktop PC as it is more convenient to use. The laptop offers mobility but I think it will rob you of comfort or ease of use, imo ;)

I gotta go with Abhik on this one, I have both and use my desktop at home and laptop when I'm out, mind you I have a nice cozy office with a super comfy chair, TV, bar fridge, backlit keyboard, awesome mouse and a 30" monitor, if I could take all that with me when I go out I'd donate my laptop to charity.
