I stop using SETI since i decided what are the chances of doing something. Of course I start Bit Comet & Flashget (actually i use them all the time so – nothing special – just sometimes i turn it off.
I either defragment my HDD, scan for viruses/spyware, download something or I don't give any task to it, I just let it run
