sorry mate, might have gone further but you keep getting these PM's that no-one can proove, I am out because of that alone, Ikaruga may get the site for $500 without any competition from any of us, shame really because you may have got a lot more, the idea of a public auction is for everyone to show the color of their money not go behind the bike sheds and make a deal......

i personally have about 20k to spend on sites (that are worth this) in fact i have got to spend it over the next 4 weeks, looks like you will not get any of it mate, best of luck with Ikaruga .

One thing I'm observing -- I paid pennywise for a service to have a blog post about 1 of my sites, and not a single click has come from his site...penny, I know your traffic mostly comes from social bookmarking, but c'mon...no traffic is coming from a supposed 1350 uniques a day, lol.

 

The traffic is real and I've proved it several ways -there's recently been a slight downswing, but it will pick back up with updates to the site - the lower traffic tends to convert better(search engine) -

 

I know your traffic is real, and I'll be totally happy with your site if your sidebar affiliates stick around. I just paid you $10 to test out my grand scheme, and it doesn't seem to be working =p

 

Alright, something came to mind:

Why are you giving pennywisepcs.com away when that's your handle here -- are you going to return back to Digitalpoint under a different name? That might sound like an offensive remark to you, but something doesn't seem right about that.

Also, what's your reason for sell?

Who writes the articles? Will you provide a writer?

Do you get any sales for custom built computers?

 

I will PM me a moderator and ask if I can change my name. If not, I will put a line in my sig that says " I am the former owner of pennywisepcs.com, that domain is no longer mine, If you have a question about the site, I'll put you in contact with the current owners" or something of that nature.
I'm selling because I want to create a site that allows people to upload their own computer templates etc- however, I don't know how to do the coding for that, so I need to hire someone to do it - and I need money to hire them.
I have not done any paid advertising for the site, though I bought stumbles once.
I wrote the articles - when selling, I will write ten (10) more articles and schedule them to post once a day for the next week and a half. I will also attempt to set you up with a writer for a longer term arrangement.

I sold a few computers, but mostly locally - I intend to keep that segment of my business, though you're welcome to sell computers as well if you like.

EDIT: I take that back, I did some advertising with adengage in december but there was no discernible ROI, so I dropped it.
