Hi. Can anyone help. For some reason when I visit some sites, they won't show. Also some ads or i.e. banners / google ads don't show on my computer. I am really confused. I don't know what the settings of my computer are, but this is really weird. If I go on a different computer, I see all the things fine that I can't see on my computer. Here is an example: When I got ads from CJ .com, and I put them on my site, and I publish the site. I can't see the ads on my computer. Also when I visited some other ad networks, their sites just comes up as an image or sort of. it's reads on the top: i.e. direc.php (GIF image, 1x1 pixels). Don't have any clue on how to fix this. Please help.

    Thanx

It could be many things. JS turned off, software or extensions to block ads/JS, anti spyware programs, Norton, etc...

Simplest thing to do would be try a different browser - Firefox, Safari, Opera etc...

You are not by any chance using an Internet service that would block ads are you? I can see this happening if you are using public wifi or something along those lines if a filter is in place. It is strange that it does it in both IE and FireFox, so it might not be a browser setting.

    tools > options/preferences > security level
    change to low

if you have windows firewall enable, go to there via start > contorl panel > windows firewall
    open and edit if neccessary

okay, I noticed something just now. When i visit a site, that has both secure and non secure settings, i test this and noticed that the non secure doesn't show while the secure one shows. I.e. i went to cj .com - http : // cj .com, and i could only see the words not the images and other things such as the flash text. then i went to https : // cj .com and it works fine. everything comes out and i can browse through the site fine. but the non secure one doesn't show anything, nor does the link. when i click on the click only a blank page comes up.
