Computer Science major guy here

    Wanted to drop by and say hello. Currently interested in starting a project to make my own blog or site from scratch. So, you'll probably see me asking around on tips how to start. I currently program in C++, and am good with OOP principles, and more.

    I'm not really good with CSS, nor creating Wordpress themes so this is my first shot at creating a theme so cut me some slack. :) I'm working on the layout when I can. Currently taking 19 units so ya...fairly busy.

    What C++ complier they are using to teach? My school here using Visual C++ and I don't like it very much.

    They first taught us with emacs and the terminal using g++ as our compiler...and I learned how to use Vim. Then they introduced an IDE, Eclipse but I didn't like much. I mainly use CodeBlocks and lately have been learning how to use OpenGL to make simple animations using sprites to make video games. :eek:
