Computer related question ... External usb cd/dvd rom that can emulate floppy...

    I am looking for an external enclosure that can has the option (toggle switch) that enables it to emulate floppy....

    Reason being, I have a Fujitsu Lifebook P1120, and I can boot off one of those enclosures that support emulate floppy....

    Any ideas?

    A regular external cdrom or cd-rw won't work?

    Nope, it has to be able to emulate floppy...

    You stumped me so I searched and there is not a lot of info out there. I did find this possible option of using a usb jump drive to boot so I will share the link in hope that it might help:

    The p1120 will not boot from usb flash drive... only from a usb floppy, and there are a couple of usb enclosures that support "emulate floppy" but, I have no clue which ones....
