Computer freezes when try to watch a video!

    Everytime I try to watch a video with Windows Media Player online or on my computer my sestem freezes and get stuck.I tried also with Real Player but the same happened.What's wrong?

    Depends. Whats your system specs, age, ect.

    If windows has been installed a while things go wierd like this and theres no choice but to reinstall.
    If you have a slow cpu or low memory or a large pagefile on a full harddrive, this can greatly contribute to the problem.

    Which versions of WMP you use. Do you have codecs, do this happen with different files, or onli with one particular?

    I have Pentium 2 withWindows 2000 Pro and 320 RAM.My Media Player is version 9.Sometimes I can see the video but this doesn't hapen often.I can watch Youtube and this kind of videos but not the others.Someone said to me that maybe I have problem with codecs.What are they exactly and where to get them?

    Codec are codes which are used to encrypt video files. Without proper codecs, you cannot watch the video, or you don't have sound. Search for "Codec Pack" and you'll find some codecs which you can install.
