High computer work (8 to 10 hours per day) create eye problem.

    Computer work creates Blindness.

Here give your idea to reducing eye stress, when working computer.

Take breaks using the computer, walk around just to stretch out, and for your eyes, you should stare at something far away (not sure how long), I am sure someone will tell you, but just the long eye shot technique :)

Always take 5 minutes break after one hour continuous work in front of computer. Do some simple eye exercise in this break.

Take breaks and try to focus your eyes on things in the distance. eg. look out a window.

Usa a good quality monitor.. put the refresh rate as high as possible, so 75hz (or higher) instead of 60 if your lcd allows it. If you intend to buy a new computer, don't buy the cheapest screen you can find..

Adjust contrast and brightness, don't work in a dark room with your screen set on high brightness - switch on your desk light, lower brightness, ..

each hour take a small break - and like others said, look often through a window and try to focus on a point as far as possible
