    Shawn,

In Optigold under Maintenance & Preferances > Compress Data Files, can this be done with users still in the system or do I need to take it down with no users logged in? I would assume they should not be in.

Second part to the question is how frequent or what is the recommended frequency that this should be done?

    Thanks,

Would need to be done in single user mode (so no users can be in it).

You can do it as often as you want. It's mostly for a time when you delete a mass amount of data from the database, and you want to recoup the unused space in the files.

Would it help speed up invoicing as an example?
