I have just registered the domain hack. If you don't know what it is, have a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_hack "Compras" means "Shopping" in Spanish. There are about 100,000,000 Google results. Great name for an online shopping site IMO. Some domain hack sales I have found: Blo.gs - Sold to Yahoo, rumours say it sold $5 million as a website Foru.ms - Sold for $7,000 Wi.Fi - Sold for $30,000 Veg.as sold for a $1000 Christm.as - $900 - Sedo Virus.es - $2,660 - Sedo Languag.es - $1,353 - Sedo Magaz.in $4,000 SEDO 2007 De.af $360 Nov 08 Sedo Auction Cr.am $900 May 08 Sedo Auction Ga.gs $693 Feb 07 Sedo Auction Ra.gs $713 Feb 07 Sedo Auction Ci.gs $693 Feb 07 Sedo Auction Drawin.gs $500 Nov 06 Afternic Love.ly $6,176 Jun 08 Sedo Musli.ms $200 Feb 07 Sedo Auction Li.st $5,000 Apr 06 Sedo Adelai.de $212 Dec 07 Sedo Auction
Wi.Fi - Sold for $30,000 --- This was too low price for such a great domain. Lucky buyer. Sorry cant give appraise to this as it is spanish word and dont know how popular keyword is that.
its a very good domain name, specially since shopping comparison sites are very popular these days. i would say mid $x,xxx roughly about $4k - $6k+ i think it would be worth a lot more if it was developed by the way good luck
Only luck will decide, as for all of us. iT is nice domain. Compras means "buy" so is important keyword. I don't know what market says about such domains (doma.in) or if google can see word in it. Keep developing.
I agree with the above about the importance of this keyword I would def hang onto this one. I think it could sell somewhere in the xxxx range I can even visualize a big company wanting this one. perhaps someone like buy.com for spanish marketing.
I would have to disagree. I think it's a decent price for a domain hack, considering that Wifi.com would probably be worth around Mid $xxx, xxx IMO That's great news! But when I translate "sales" in Portuguese, it comes up as "Vendas". Is this correct?
"Vendas" means sales and the exact translation for "compras" is "buyings", or "shopping" like you said . Verb "to buy" = "comprar" Its a very used word in Portugal and Brazil , and probably on countries that speak spanish aswell. Looks like a great domain
