I used ChronoForms for a long time and it was always a battle, but it was the best component.

Over the last couple of years Breezing and RS have become popular, I use them dependent on functionality.

Make sure you know what you want from a form component and view the Joomla extensions directory (JED), they all have slightly different functions so you need to know your requirements fully, before choosing.
