Compliance with Pornographic TOS

I was wondering if anyone knew if Google had a defination of what they consider to be pornographic?

Would a site with swimsuit models be pornographic?
What if they were in very sexy poses?
What is they were topless but had their hands covering their breasts?
What about a humor site that has a comical picture of a man nude from behind?
What about an art site with paintings where some of the women are nude?

Does anyone know where Google draws the line on where they do and do not want adsense?

I have a website that could be considered to be adult, but it is not. It is located at www.banggirls.net. It only has pictures of women with bikinis and hot female celebrity photos. I've added google adsense to just about every page, and have had no problems with google.

I emailed the google reps about it, and they told me not to put ads on any page which has explicity content. As far as I know, as long as the women are covered and not performing sex acts, adding google ads is fine.

Another site you may want to look at is skirtworld.com. Not one of mine, but it has sexy photos of female celebrities scantily clad with google ads.

Nobody really knows the answer on this one even the Google adsense team has reponded to me on the same exact questions with 3 different contradicting e-mails. Just avoid anything even slightly suggestive and you wont have to worry.
I've created a filter for a search engine that refuses to show ads when STOP words in my database are used. I use an alternate ad at that time.

It's a good question. The bottom line is that you can speculate till you get old and grey but unless the site is live and published there is no way for Google to be able to provide a definitive answer on whether Adsense is ok or not.

Google says, "I know it when I see it."

Same as the rest of us. No bright lines.

It's always best to email Google before you put the ads on any site just to check. Then keep the reply email :)

Interesting discussion indeed. Im currently working on adult humor site.
It has text jokes for adults, some comics, etc.
I wonder if this is ok with G TOS. Other companies like AdBrite and Clicksor
are working much worse for me, so i would love to use AdSense there, but not sure if its ok.
Regarding sending question to G first - it's probably smart, but the chances are they will say "you are not allowed" just to cover their ass.
