    Hi Digital Point,

Please allow me to introduce myself first. I'm new to Digital Point. I've been working with xhtml/css, and as well as php/mysql in the past 3-4 years. I've stopped for a year, then I found that with the recent economic development it becomes harder and harder to go back to doing what I was doing.

While working on web development though, I've came across various forms of web business. So now I decide to come back to the web and start afresh. I'm finding myself here at a loss as to where should I begin.

What I really would appreciate is for someone is lead me the way as to how I could start. I understand that everyone's experiences and knowledge are valuable and should not be disclosed easily. So I'm not asking for much but rather some general areas as to where I could start my new journey on the web. I would just want an overview of what are people doing the interwebs these days. Much appreciated for any insights!

    Thanks!

If you've already got the PHP/MySQL skills, as well as the XHTML/CSS knowledge, why not try to create a site that provides a valuable service to a small niche of web users? Perhaps you could try targeting social media users, SEO folks, what have you. If you can innovate, then you can create a successful business model online. Just don't neglect the business side of your business! Good luck!
