Hi, I have this website, iphoneunlocknow.com - it's been page one in Google for a long time now, anyway... Yesterday I searched for "unlock iphone" in google to check my SERP, and my website has been replaced with unlock.iphonescout.de - an exact replica of my website! Now I'm guessing Google favoured there way, thats why it put them over my page 1 rank. But is there anything I can do to claim back the money I'm loosing right now..? I would make at least 3 - 5 sales a day at page 1, obviously now it's getting 0 because unlock.iphonescout.de has stolen my content and therefor my position. Basically I want to do everything I can too this a**h****, website shut down and clim back as much of the money as I can. Does anyone know how I should go bout doing this? She's German, as is her web host, so the languge barrier makes things a little more complicated too.
lol thats funny but stolen content is very naughty and I bet you feel unhappy because of all your hard work. But the only way is to maybe try and make a lawsuite - not likley - or try and contact google, either way you have to prove your the owner and thats going to be hard. Best bet is emailing the owner of this site and saying in a profesional manner.... We have noticed you have content which belongs to us on your site, please can you remove it to prevent any further matters.
Hi, Send an email to the owner as well as the hosting provider and DC with the site links and am sure they [ DC and web host] can help you with this.
Karen, the owner of the website is ignoring all my messages via MSN and E-Mail. Ive e-mailed the web host so will have wait and see what they say.
File a DMCA with the host and google. Google will remove the site from their index. "I have this website, iphoneunlocknow.com - it's been page one in Google for a long time now" Your site is only 3 months old. It's not unusual to rank well initially and then drop in SERPS.
Thanks. We didn't drop, it was although google replaced my site with karens stolen site, I mean I didn't even realise when I searched that it wasn't my URL, the title, description, and SERP position we're all the same as mine. I'll look into the DMCA though, cheers.
