Complete your UK tax return in exchange for a simple website

For those of you who have dealt with me you probably know that I trained as a UK accountant, which is why my copywriting and web content is overwhelmingly in personal finance niches.

My background is actually in UK tax. While I don't do tax returns, I have a colleague who has an established small business that does do UK tax returns. He also has a lot of computer programmers on his books, so he's got a good idea of what expenses are deductible in your area. He wants to get a decent website and has some spare capacity.

So here's the deal. He will complete and submit the accounts and UK tax return for a sole trader or a small limited company, for which he charges £400, in return for a bog standard small business website. The specs for the website are:

    - Clean design, doesn't need to be too original
    - Must have a content management system for adding and editing articles
    - A designed logo (if it's appropriate and looks good he won't mind if it’s a cast off from another client)
    - Directing to a domain name which he is willing to buy
    - Email forwarding from the domain name
    - Ability to fire up a Word Press blog in the future
    - Introduction to a web host

He will not do non-UK tax returns. If you have an investigation you need help with, a payroll issue or any other type of complex issue he would be glad to help - but this will be for a fee.

A couple of tie breakers if we get more than one person taking up this offer:

    - Copywriting is a plus as although I can do it for him, I have quite a lot of paid work on my plate at the moment.
    - Any very basic SEO stuff that could be done in five or ten minutes
    - Free web hosting, if you can offer it.

PM me if you want to take up this offer. If you are doing your own tax return you can get this chore off your hands in return for a couple of hour's work, and very possibly find that you may have missed a couple of useful deductions.

Nice post to know the information. Small business tax deductions are generally put into practice on the expenses concerned in the business. These expenses contain office stationeries, advertisements, postage charges, shipping fees, telephone bills, and Internet charges.
