i have created a website around forex to try and earn some extra cash from affiliate programmes, anyway im having a real tough time with traffic. i have bought a couple of them "50,000 visitors to your website" from ebay, and they just dont work, so i want to go down the proper route now. do i go to those "submit your website to our search engines" websites, or do i do it another way?...i dont seem to show up on google. any help is much appreciated. I did try to submit my website to one of those "submit your website to our search engines" websites, and it did not help me at all... Maybe you need to know the right company to use...
Follow some simple steps and u will get traffic as well as pr 1) Do article submissions/directory submissions for pr and thereby convince webmasters for link exchange 2) submit ur site to social bookmarking sites like stumble,digg for some traffic Hope that helps

Search engines are the best source of getting a lot of targeted traffic. So try to increase your rank. Build back links.
Make sure your title tags are what people are looking for. Make sure you use Stumbleupn, Digg and other. Focus on getting links. From Articles, SB Sites, Set up profiles on Facebook, Linkedin etc. Also do a few press releases. Pay attention to anchor text and link structure. It takes time.
