I would like to venture into the world of affiliate marketing, and I definitely have a lot to learn, but I think I would enjoy the challenge. This question seems kind of stupid, but I really just don't know the answer, so sorry that this is so basic. Let's say I've found a niche, or a product I'd be interested in promoting. I don't have a website for it yet (since I'm just starting out) and want to join an affiliate program to make sure that my niche idea has good products/services available. When you try to join an affiliate program they ask for a website. If you're just starting out, you may not have a related website yet, especially if it's for a new or unique niche that you are still researching. So how can you join an affiliate program, if you don't yet have a website? I guess my real question is how do you get started when you don't have a website at all? I don't want to create a website, join an affiliate program, then find out my website is not relevant or doesn't have good affiliate support or options. Sorry if this is long winded, just hoping to explain it so it makes sense.
best thing to do is register a website related to affiliate marketing or create your own brand or business name. it doesn't really need to be associated with the niche the affiliate program is in. then just use this to register for all affiliate programs.
