Is there any way to complaint to dmoz. Is there any form or somethink like that where you can complain your queries to dmoz.
http://resource-zone.com/ I think they still listen to issues. But dont give you any info on your links submission status no more.
What could it be else than submission. I cannt believe that all of my sites are rejected including some good portals and during the period some worst sites have been listed....
hhmm.... wat reason they give??? I have had every site submitted, its just a matter of submitting to correct category, and waiting a decade. There is nothing more anyone can do
But how can u tolerate that worst sites being added and your getting rejected without any base. And what more worse is that google still uses dmoz database.
Forget it. DMOZ has been complained about for years and nothing much seems to change. Maybe your sites aren't as good as you think or maybe there is a 2 million backlog in your chosen category or maybe the editor for that category is a competitor? Who knows? I wouldn't bother trying to complain. It won't make any difference and the only thing that will have changed is that you will be older. Submit your site to other directories.
What evidence do you have that your sites have been rejected? Or are you once again making broad sweeping statements that you can't back up? Please provide the evidence.
1. Live links and signatures are not available until you have 10 total posts. So I can`t post the link. Try "ODP Abuse Report System" on Google.
How odd. I have no trouble believing that at all, based on your posts here at DigitalPoint. In fact, I might be looking for the complaint button if your sites WERE included...
Good link given by Krumel. But is it of any use. When they donnt get time to add site who will read those complaints.
They get time to add several thousand sites a day. They get time to process update requests, usually within several days of them being submitted, so that the sites that ARE listed are listed correctly. They get time to delist any redirects that are found, or bait-and-switch schemes. (Difficult to find, so it takes up a lot of time) Those, I would say, are the major priorities of most editors. Not getting your site listed is not, per se editorial abuse - if you are going to file an abuse complaint you are going to have to do it based on more evidence than "My site isn't listed yet, so the editor must be a competitor of mine". Based on your posts here, seoindia, and your history of wild unsubstantiated assertions which you can't back up, I would advise against wasting editor's time with an abuse complaint.
