complaining to google works!!!

i posted a while ago complaining that i suspect my wife's wordpress blog got banned by google due to comment spam by poker sites (it was a long while before i realized it was being spammed).

i wrote to google and tried to contact them through the 'contact us' form but got canned replies from them... i just found out today that it's back in the index - from awstats:

Just to tag onto this thread, and add my 2 cents:

I was notified by G about to much keyword targeting. So I fixed it, and didn't know with a letter telling me that adsense needed to be removed, behind the scenes the offending domain was 'banned' When I determined this, I wrote a letter and G was quick to 're-evaluate' my site, and the happy G-Spider came crawling again.

What does this mean?

 

It likely means keyword stuffing to get adsense to display particular ads.

 

"blatent stuffing" without any matching content.
