Competitor's site suddenly 2 in Google, 1 backlink, how??!

    I don't really want to publish it on here, but does anyone have any software to analyse this site and see how they have done it?! I can email you the link to their site and the keywords. I can't work it out. Thanks!

    There are a number of free tools you can use, but if you use Firefox you can use the "SEO For Firefox" addon to inspect the site.

    Why don't you just go to the site and find out how nicely it generates seo report ? It will compare your and competitors site for seo and will show your the difference on each aspect of seo.

    There is nothing wrong with doing some analysis on your competition. Just post the URL and I'm sure a lot of people will offer some insight on what's going on.

    ranking completely doesn't depend on back link,in seo content is the king,it may be they have written high quality content,n do updation in their website regularilyyyyyy, Google prefer fresh content as compare to the old oneeeee

    Thats true always fresh and topic related content is valuable , and deffer by google ... thay count it fresh content as a google friendly website ... and that website get good ranking in google index...
