I have a cmapign with less clicks. My senior told me that make competitor campaign with competitor urls. I made a campaign with my all competitors urls. I really don't know whats the benefit of this. someone plz tell me benefit of this type of strategy. Thx
I think what he's saying here is that he's set up a competitor campaign and used their urls as keywords - correct? This can work, but to be honest unless your competitors and their URLs are very well known / searched, or you have hundreds of them, then you're not gonna be able to increase your click volume greatly. (Also, in my experience it's harder to get a good quality score on competitor urls)
yeah very right! I used the competitor urls as keyword lik mydomain.com www.mydomain.com http://www.mydomain.com https://www.mydomain.com etc.
thought so - odds are that unless it's a well known url that a lot of people search for then you probably won't get that many clicks from it - and odds are that you'll have a low quality score - best to set these urls up in a separate campaign so that they don't influence your campaign history... (if you're having problems like this maybe best to hire in a professional...)
It really does depend on how much traffic and searching is being done on your competitors listing. It isnt always that successful for sure!
One of my clients actually makes 75% of his sales through this strategy by me targeting the bigger companies advertised on TV, etc.
Yes, having domain variations in our keywords gives us a great advantage over our competitors. Also, its a good idea to use various competitor spy tools for competitive intelligence.
