competitive vs non-competitive keywords

    I have pages that rank in the top 5 for non competitive keywords like "online poker story". And google reports about 15.000.000 pages.

    But those same or similar pages on the site will rank nowhere (cannot find them in the top 1000) for much more competitive keywords like "online poker". And google reports about 30.000.000 results.

    I would understand if my site came no 50 or no 200. But nowhere?

    Ok, the site is relatively new and has few backlinks. But still I am wondering if this behavior is normal.

    PS: The keywords I used are just examples. I am in a different market.

    wait for sometime. Or you must have been sandboxed. I got this error just 6days ago. And was given high rankings agn after 4 days. I have posted a thread on DP about my sandbox story. Search it
