Does anyone else use competitive ad filters to block low paying advertisers?

I have to admit I've dont it in the past but it has it's pros and cons.

WHen I first tried it I blocked one advertiser who was taking over 90% of my impressions with their leaderboard banner and gettign few clicks. The clicks I did get were for like 1 to 2 cents. My profits went up. But soon after I had like 3 more advertisers trying the same thing so I blocked them all too!!

Well, I guess Google got pissed because for a whole day I had hardly any banner impressions so I unblocked a few of them and for a few weeks had them plus a few other decent paying banners. Now I've got another freeloader eating up impressions for pennies per click.

    Anyone else tried the filter?

I used it, it is a good thing. You can also visit Adsense Black List where you can get a list of low paying advertisers to put in your filter

I had the filter working for two months now, but I've since removed most of the blocked urls to see why my daily revenue is so low.
