Competitive ad filter not updating

Is it just me or does the ad filter seem to not be updating? I added one this morning and the ad is still showing. I don't recall it ever taking more than a couple hours.

 

I think it can take up to 24 (or is it 48?) hours to update.. but it's usually faster..

 

It can take up to 24 hours or more sometimes for it to update. It's happened to me before where I was being smart priced to death but the filter wouldn't update! I think Google does it on purpose sometimes.
