Our quest for Rankings has somehow become really silly, and somehow, i think we are being selfish in our reasoning in the quest to get traffic to our own websites: How often do you hear or see adverts about some "special" software, books, DVDs or whatever promising to drive traffic to your website and assuring that you'd be placed in google top list or it front page? We find ouselves paying lot and lot of money for these "special programmes" but, we forget that other people are doing the same and are also expecting to be placed on the top of the list and in the very same front pages that you expect of your website, so, at the end, despite buying these things, you still see yourself in a no position since others are doing the same even more than you are doing to promote your website. At last, you see yourself in a competition of resource power. Wake up folks
