Hi everyone, I'm running a competition to win $100 for the best logo design ($150 if I really like it). The website is for a Human Growth Hormone (www.humangrowthhormones101.com) It is a guide and review website for promoting Human Growth Hormones (HGH). The logo needs to be a light blue theme, perhaps the same colours as Twitter? The growth hormone is part of the human DNA so the double helix would be a popular choice along with the medical symbol of the cross looking thing with a snake. The logo needs to have a medical feel to it with a little web 2.0 and marketing style. Here are some of the sites that will be associated: http://www.genf20.com/nf1/index.html http://www.hghadvanced.com/ (I like the DNA double helix in the logo) The meaning ‘101’ in the title usually means “a complete guide†type of thing so this should hopefully cover all grounds. If you can come up with a better colour skin then feel free (if you make a good suggestion and I choose the layout too you will get an additional $150). There is a chance to do other logo and web designer work for the winner if they have user interface and marketing capabilities. The winner will be paid via paypal and they must hand over full copyright permissions to myself and no accredatation given. The winner must provide the design in PSD format. The competition closes on Wednesday 28th July 2010 at 5pm GMT. Any questions, just drop me a PM. Thanks Ryan
What do you mean when you say "a better colour skin"? What does "colour skin" mean? ("If you can come up with a better colour skin then feel free (if you make a good suggestion and I choose the layout too you will get an additional $150).") Sorry, this must be a silly question for you, but I'm Spanish, and I don't know a lot of Engish, and I don't understand what do you mean when saying "colour skin".
ideosmil - i like the colours and the bold representation of the double helix and health cross. some very good variations and ideas DearaDesigns - by the colour skin, i mean the theme of the website such as the branding, background, font colours etc. spy100 - please try variations of different designs rather than just changing the font style. crosshair - i like the simplicity of the design, very web 2.0 style with the double helix. Good choice of font too. For everyone else, please submit your ideas and designs. Its up to $150 for a single logo design. Other competitions on here are running at $20-30 for a logo design. Thanks Ryan
Thank you to everyone who took part. I received a large number of logos through the thread and PM. Although I gave examples for the double helix and health symbol, I was quite inspired when I received the winning logo from a contestant. It is very fresh, has a good colour scheme to work with and unique. I asked the contestant to upload their design. Regards Ryan
