Competition in Google KW TOOL?

    Having trouble getting people to go to my site. It has articles with kw's but is not showing up on google first page.

    I think that the competition in this niche....Liposuction....is extremely heavy.


    What are peoples thoughts with picking a "low competition" "low monthly searches"

    I just want to see if I can get any traffic at all.

    A good start would be getting a real domain and building a real site not a blogspot.
    Low search phrase would be ok for you to learn on or to have a bunch of them.

    This is primarily a learning experience. I am new to the entire process and want to do it essentially for free. Befor buying domain, hosting, etc...

    I am not planning on getting a real domain yet. Does blogspot have that much negative effect on page rank? I thought it would be alright as Google owns it.
