Thinking of organising a competition, where the user who brings in the most new members in a month, wins a prize. The qualifier is when the new member makes a post and the new member mustn't be on the same IP address, but, how do you find out who introduced who ? Has anyone else here ever organised something like this please ? Any ideas ? Any help appreciated. Kezi
When a user registers, he has the option of adding the name of the referrer. You may find out who introduced who using these.
Thanks, but the new user might forget to input the referrers details and really need to make it a bit more certain in some way. ps - I'm having to login every time I visit back here, even if it's only an hour later, is that the same for the others here ?
You're assuming the topic starter and the readers of this thread are using vBulletin? Expect lackluster results.
Stick with organic traffic. The problem with contest is they stop posting after its over and dont stay active.
