Competing meta keywords on a site

I've been putting meta-keywords on my pages, and have been sure not to have any duplicates.

But do you think this is a good idea? I COULD put the general keywords on the more specific pages. I'm trying not to confuse things for the SE's.

of course you can repeat a few keywords in the Meta tags on different pages. I'd suggest you should also work on the content itself. Adding only Meta tags might not help much in some cases.

What a bull. What's next? A discussion about PHP in the Adsense forum just because you need a PHP image rotation script for your Adsense?

Actually, meta tags have influenced the AdSense targeting in the past. I haven't run any testing on it recently tho, but it did a year or two ago.
