Competing against omitted results?

    Hi,

    just a quick question:

    if a keyword-phrase get's, let's say, 33.000 search results on google, and only 434 are showing (rest is omitted due to duplicate content), do I have to compete against 33.000 sites or only 434?

    434, probably less. The other pages are just pages within the 400 sites
