Hi, I'm looking at buying a domain that is a very common phrase..for example.."iwantagirlfriend" (no that isn't the one I'm looking at haha). When I search google for this phrase (separated by spaces) I see over 400 million results. I guess my question is is it even worth buying? google keywords says the phrase gets 30k hits a month but to me isn't it useless if I can't get to the top page of search results? Another related question: how much of an advantage do you have over other links if you have the exact phrase in the domain? thanks

That is just hairsplitting, dont worry about those details, just get it, as long as it is a .com or a .org or a .net you will do fine if you know what you are doing. so stop the mental maturbation, and do something solid

Do not read too much into the number of results. Have a look at the first page and the domains in question- you'll get a fair idea whether or not you'd be able to beat them.

Having an exact phrase in the domain is certainly helpful, especially in niches with less competition.
