Competetive Ads Filter timescale?

    Just curious to know how long the comepetive ads filter takes to work?

    I've just blocked a few sites, and 15 minutes later the ads are still showing.....

    When I tried it, it took just over a day. I initially thought it wasn't going to work..but eventually it took effect.

    after using the ad filter, there has been a dramatic decrease in earnings per day.
    I even let the MFA back in. ---- MFA could mean something else too :)

    I used to earn from $7 to $10 per day..now it's $2 normally, and $4 if I am lucky..and all sites (4) are still active.

    Is there a way we an tell if advertisiers or a industry have lowerd their spending limits ..?
    Niches seem to be the best...which is why 1 site was pulling $5 per day alone.

    other alternatives..? besides normal affiliates with CJ.com which I have reservations about ?
