    Google is a search engine where Microsoft is a giant OS etc makers. Under what criteria you want to compare them both?

    Since working and programming with the new .net technology, I would have to say Microsoft is way more innovated than Google by far. Microsoft has more assets and controls the market for operating systems, softwares, and even games now ie xbox.

    Google just has the Search market and Google maps.

    Other than that Google is still a puppy compared to Microsoft.
