    Well i don't know what to say.Frankly speaking both are important to make your site a successful business site.Both technique provide you an opportunity to get a potential customers to your site.See what i personally believe is to having a traffic is more important so it doesn't matters from where you get it.SEO or SMO both helpful to make your site popular and that is valuable most.
