Comparing traffic stats - AWstats or Google Analytics?

When looking at traffic stats, should I pay more attention to Google analytics, or AWstats (within cPanel)? Which of the two is more accurate? and why? I was just curious because the traffic stats are drastically different between the two.

    Thanks,
    Gordon

What I have found is that awstats isn't all that accurate. It seems to inflate your real traffic slightly based on what I have seen. I have found that Google Analytics is much more informative and realistic in terms of how many unique visitors you are getting.

Thanks for the reply! I guess I will stick with Google Analytics.

    Thank you,

I think having AWstats and Google Analytics together at the same time is the best choice as they give you some different information about your traffic.

Isn't Google king of the world? But yea, I guess having both is a good idea but rely more analytics from google.
