Compare google adsense and Yahoo Publishing

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if anyone has done a comparison on Google adsense against Yahoo Publishing in terms of revenue. I have a decent sized site which could probably qualify for Yahoo Publishing. I'm disappointed with adsense revenue.

I think google adsense is the best then yahoo. because all people can be a publisher in adsense but in yahoo just several people can be a publisher.

 

Yes, Google adsense is best no other publishing network is better than adsense because it has good click rates.

 

i wish i can compare them myself, but unfortunately i still need my website to get approved which i doubt

 

I use both and it's all about the niche. The same principals however apply. Your target traffic must match the content of the advertisements. YPN is not as good at matching ads to content. YPN does not have the same flexibility in Ad units. And YPN does a very poor job of tracking campaigns. But you still can make serious money with the program in niches that have a lot of advertisers willing to spend.

Yahoo definitely pays lower than Adsense as the Bids for Yahoo PPC are almost 50% cheaper than Adwords.Why do you think YPN pays you more for a Loss ?

 

There's definitely no reason why there should be a comparison. I mean, there's ONLY been thousands of threads like these. Yahoo has always paid lower than Adsense.

Adsense is always the best, though i have signed up for Yahoo but still didnt got any information from them.

 

Adsense has started deleting all accounts from people from India slowly. Especially smaller ones, without giving any reason.

If you use intelligently YPN performs way better than Adsense. Primarily at YPN you have to specify the target keywords by yourself, so by a bit of tweaking you ask YPN to generate top dollar paying Ads only. Whereas at adsense matching is automatic, so many times you end up getting pennies.

However keep in mind YPN does not tolerate foreign traffic and if ur foreign traffic goes beyond a specific percentage u will geta boot (thats what my rep at YPN told me).
