Company Name Optimization

Hi all,

Here I am with another question..

I have to work on a company website, where the domain name includes the name in it. And in Google the website is (single word) showing 116th position.

There are no competitors in the same category(software development) with the same name, but there are some other websites with this name(coffee shop, restaurant, etc).

Now my question is, how can I get my website on top, when I type company name (single word) on Google?

Note: I am using the name everywhere, when and where required in the site content.

Don't know whether it is called as Brand promotion., but please gimme advice on it..??

 

Its not much hard job for you just do one thing use this name in to your meta title tag and meta description tag also it will increase density of that keyword. As you said there is no other competitors for this name then it will surely rank up for that name in Google.

 

if there is no error on your site , it will com fast after you updating meta tags. try to build good links also ...

Good meta tag, and backlinks. Putting about 50-100 backlinks will put you at the top.

 

I think you can try internet marketing with your company name. you know dear it's not a big deal. You can use that steps.

go for this "keyword | company name" - by this you can target both keyword and your company name., yea as u said this is represented as promoting your brand name / company name

 

Uday is right! You can use the format of keyword | company name in meta tags and in descriptions. This will improve your keyword density and at the same time your keyword will be targeted. And to overall increase the ranking start with the activities mentioned by Seowebtriangle. If not all, try at least a few. A combination of 3 or 4 activities will show you good results. Building back links will also be really helpful..

Focus on building quality backlinks to your website, leave comments on high page rank websites which are related to your niche and if you are constantly building backlinks, someday your website will rank higher in SERP. At least this is how I'm trying to improve my website's ranking.

Social Networking
Search Engine Submissions

Yet, I did not find good results in SERPs. I am finding sometimes my blogs(which I posted with fresh content) are coming up. But am not finding any improvement in website position. Indeed am facing drop in keyword ranking day by day.

Any ideas to solve this??

 

use the | in your title, not meta tags. It's silly, but it works...it's like 2 titles

Add content and bring in traffic, ranking goes by traffic. If your site is that low, it's either brand spanking new, or you really haven't added anything of value to it yet

 

I did the same GoldSEO. 116th position is now 37 th place. But still I want to place it top 10 results. As it was my given target, I am asking for better help.


I am very disappointed with the keyword position drops (which were good previously, before page update).
