    it really is.. google ads can really some get some huge amount of traffic.. I'm not surprised that they spent alot of money..

    Nobody who uses Adwords should be surprised at those numbers... Adwords is EXPENSIVE... Even very small companies are spending hundreds per month, and the $100 coupons they give never last longer than two weeks.

    I'm not surprised, but I do think that a lot of firms are still spending money blindly not understanding their ROI's I know that the company I used to work for - large firm - in my opinion pretty much plucked their ROI figures out of the air.

    or what niche to avoid because it's dominated by someone who has a couple of million dollars a month to throw at it....
