    Hi Guys,
I am looking for a very good community script. Do any of you know some really good ones and approximately how much fees (licensing) it would include?

    Many Thanks

PHPFox and PHPzabi seem to be the better open source ones around at the moment.

I hate dolphin, it's a poor script and it's under the guise of being free, where in reality you have to pay quite a lot in order to remove all of their ads. I rathe the two scripts above as being much better. Keep an eye on the new release of PHPzabi, it looks fantastic so far.

How can PHPfox be opensource if you have to pay? From what I saw on their site the script costs $300.

"Open Source" means "free" as in freedom, not as in free beer.
A lot of commercial scripts are now open source.

Sorry I was referring to Alicia being open source. I've been waiting for it to be released for two months for two news sites I have in the pipeline. It looks like it's going to be worth waiting for from the demo.

    phpfox is the best!
I have been using it for over 7 months and it works great!
Easy to modify code, add new stuff such as chatrooms, ...
Also easy to integrate databases together.
    I highly recommend it.
