    I was told to google www.community-info.ca and the site did not existe. Yet it does but not in the google search engine. Why is that?

    It is because your site might not be indexed in Google yet. Your site exists but maybe not in google's site. You will have to have good content on your site and build backlinks. this will help google index your site faster and determine your keyword rankings in its searches.     i agree with this, sounds about right, howver you can always submit the link to google manually
