Hello everyone! Me and my colleagues have started to build a new eCommerce Platform. Laravel-like modern, MongoDB fast (yet ACID) and most important- developer oriented. We have worked in web development for multiple years and are tired of bloated, slow and unnecessarily complex solutions. It's still under radar, but we are looking for people, who are experienced in this field and would like to share their expertise and frequent problems they encounter. Also don't hesitate to throw new ideas our way, we want it to be simple, fast & highly customisable. This week, we will share first bits of code on GitHub and you can check how it is going to be built in the blog here: https://medium.com/@antonssapriko Anyone interested? Here is the vision:
Now everybody wants to use Woocommerce because it's the easiest to use. Nobody care someone difficult and useless as Magento or other "best" shop cms...
Hi, we are a development company that has lauched 500+ ecommerce sites. And we are supporting more than 50 stores daily, so it would be safe to say that we know majority of the flaws each CMS has. Developer friendly, because developers are the ones who create the experience. And if we can attract more developers for input we can make the experience unique & pleasant for every store and everyone, not just programmers. User friendliness is mostly front-end work, but we want to change the core of the platform to exclude the "difficult and useless" features. That is the point of this post. It was not meant as an advertisement. You are telling me that everything is bad, but what exactly? We are capable of fixing these things and I am asking you to name everything that is bad.
community driven means something like social eCommerce? If that's the case, we have some idea as we have similar products. In case if you are looking for some specific modules, we can give you more information.
