Community blogs?

Hi,

I am looking for blog software that emulates the great community functionality of myspace.com, e.g. the way one can set up interest groups, manage it, etc.

I have looked at some of the biggies, WP (not bad), MT (Perl, nah), and still am looking for something more like myspace.com.

Any clues? Thanks in advance.

 

vbulliten is nice and has mods for myspace like profiles with buddies and tagging... comments all that

 

But is that not a forum. I am looking for a blog solution.

 

it is a forum... but like i said it has mods to do myspace like profiles and much more including blogs... of course this is going to require some work on your part.

Vbulletin is great recommedation for what your are looking for. It is easy to use and navigate.

The truth is, this is basically better than MySpace. You get much of the functionality plus a good message board (MySpace's message board system sucks!)
